Chairman of TIACA and Cargolux CEO Ulrich Ogiermann said, “Our industry talks about the importance of listening to customers but we are taking action that makes that even easier. Similarly, shippers often claim that their voice is not heard by airlines and forwarders so I hope they will take this opportunity to become members of TIACA and to participate proactively in the association."TIACA’s membership offer defines shippers as a manufacturer, wholesaler/distributor, retailer, importer or original exporter. Ogiermann added, "I am confident will bring measurable benefits to their business. By extending our shipper membership, we also hope more freight forwarders will see greater value in joining TIACA.
